Remembering Gabby

Our beautiful Gabby...

Gabby was a wonderful, compassionate and loving young woman. She was born on Feburary 7, 1993 to Jan and Teresa and will forever remain the baby of the family.  She was youngest of four children with two brothers, Scott and Chris, and her loving sister, Ilona.  Gabby was to attend college in the fall and had a passion for animals. She was an extremely smart and individualistic person with what seemed like unlimited potential.  She was truly amazing and our hearts and lives are broken without her.

This is a tragedy beyond comprehension.  It was truly amazing to see how many lives she touched by the amount of people that attened her services, and those who showed support even though they couldn't be there. We encourage you to continue sharing your thoughts and memories of our beloved Gabby; please feel free to do so in the Guestbook.

Gabby was taken from us on July 22, 2011 around 9:30pm by a hit and run. This happened on Church St in Lake Zurich across from the high school as they were walking to the Alpine fair. It's believed that the vehicle is a late 80's to early 90's Chevy Astro or GMC Safari van, basically the same thing just different name plates. It's believed to be two tone, with a light color top and a darker green or blue lower half.

Below is an example of the make and model with similar colors but is not the actual van. There should be some minor damage that was sustained to the front end. If you have any information please help us, you can contact the Lake Zurich Police or Crime Stoppers, a cash reward will be offered for information leading to an arrest.
